On September 10, 2003 Alan began his new ministry as Chief of Staff for the office of the Chaplain of the United States Senate.  From September 2005 to February 2009 he also served as the English Ministry Pastor at International Calvary Church (Korean FGC) in Springfield, VA. He and Sally are the co-founders of Dunamis International Ministries—through which they facilitate spiritual retreats for pastors, other Christian leaders, their spouses, and local churches. Alan’s first book, Take Charge of Your Destiny,has seen multinational publication. Alan’s latest book, “Don’t Be Surprised: The Truth About Jesus’ Return and Everlasting Life” was published in October 2011.

Alan and Sally reside in Springfield, VA. Their son John is a former Senate Page and a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. He is a Navy finance and program management analyst working in VA. Their daughter Jennifer is the Finance Director for The Apostolic Network of Global Awakening (ANGA), in Mechanicsburg, PA. She is married to Jason Miller a professional media consultant. Jason and Jennifer’s daughter, Lily Grace, was born June 11, 2010.
